Jesus described the struggle of the Christian life in very graphic and direct terms; “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” As followers of Jesus Christ we are to live “elevated” lives; lives lived above and beyond what those who reject or ignore Christ live.
