And if we think of it only as a matter of our eternal state, it can be frustrating to work and feel like we have little to show for it. But when we remain in the Lord we receive not only eternal rewards, but we are blessed in this life as well. In 1 John 2:26-27 we find two incredible benefits of faithfully abiding in Christ.
